Cidery · Established 2013

Twelve Springs Cidery

Single-varietal cider from heirloom Appalachian apples, bottle-conditioned.

Hendersonville, NCBlue Ridge Foothills

There are apple varieties in these mountains that exist in one orchard and nowhere else. We press them separately and find out what they taste like.

The orchard

Harrison, Virginia Hewes Crab, Black Limbertwig. Bitter, tannic, unpleasant to eat and extraordinary to ferment.

Visiting

Harvest runs September through November and that is when to come. The press room is open and the whole place smells like cut apple.
